Keyword discovery

Find long-tail phrases for satellite articles at the project level.

Updated 2026-07-28

What it does

Keyword discovery builds a pool of candidate phrases for your project’s niche. Keywords are researched at project level, then assigned to satellites through campaigns — not the other way around.

How to use it

  1. Open Research → Keywords.
  2. Run discovery (or rely on schedules / handoff from competitor analysis).
  3. Review volume, intent, and relevance.
  4. Approve the phrases you want campaigns to use.

Empty state means you have not run discovery yet — start there before the campaign wizard.

What “good” looks like

  • Long-tail informational queries satellites can answer honestly
  • Fit for the project locale (language + country)
  • Enough approved keywords to form coherent clusters

Demo behaviour

In demo projects, discovery is routed to the seed pack: you get realistic-looking keywords adapted to your niche without paid API spend.

Next

Cluster approved keywords inside a campaign, or enrich seeds via competitor analysis.
